Re: And I've never heard of a government agency ever being abolished despite the promises of politicians to do so. Ken Lay, Phil Gramm, Tom Delay and their ilk did a fine job of hollowing out the CFTC and SEC from the early 1990s forward to the point where they were like Hollywood stage sets. The exteriors were still up, but there was nothing there.
