But then the question becomes- Why?

It has to be more then being liberal to actively mislead, ignore facts, select facts, propagandize, use false conclusions and interpretations as headlines on stories with a few opposing facts buried 20 paragraphs later.

But you are right about creating false impressions. Most of us including my friends read headlines or very superficially. So the impression /information they are left with his often counter to reality ( like NO flooding) unless the story gets a huge play like Rathergate. Another good example is NO WMD.

Your thread and posts , I find to be mostly factual. The opinions are conservative but at least based on real facts.
You are doing a good service but of course don't have the exposure of NYT etc.

Incomplete factual reporting is more pervasive then totally mistatement of facts in my opinion. This is especially true in areas of the enviroment,global warming, and economics. These issues have 1000's of facts and anyone can choose the facts to support the conclusion he wishes to make ahead of time.

Anyway , thanks for your work and your last point was well spoken and a good summary but does not answer "Why" the lack of basic ethics, honesty, and blindness to reality.

Edit: As to question Why, I am not talking about people who are far left, socialists, and opposed or enemies to the US and our way of life. I am talking about your liberals found in the normal political spectrum/process and where most of the MSM press resides not Mother Jones.
