"Street Beaters" and their potential.. To my doc & friend, Jerry (ortho surgeon)who runs a formidable sports medicine surgery and rehabiliative center in Boca, I "gave" CREE, XIRC, USWB, POWI.. he's still holding (as of yesterday at least) and he made way more on those than I did. These people tend to hold positions much longer, they are not traders yet they made money from 'traders' stocks. Until now he's been buying 'old faithfuls' like GE, DD, WLA only.
