Yes Mr. Ebert. When it comes to Virtual PC, or any other manifestation of Windows piggybacked onto the Mac's own refined OS, IT IS THE PRINCIPLE of the thing. After all,... Windows is a lot of excess overhead. There's the HD space. There's the extra time in managing a separate environment. There's the confusion of mixing environments. It's like retrofitting a gas engine to run both gas and diesel. It's like owning two boats and only one motor. It's like having to work where there's a party going on. I could go on.

Going dual OS is a great thing to be able to do, if one has sufficient needs in both environments to make it worthwhile. However, if one has only one need in the other environment, the leverage gained is often lost in the energy expended.
