Ken As I have mentioned in the past, I have read over 2500 annual and over 85% specifically mentioned that the year 2000 problem would not have a significant or material affect on their internal operations. In this litigious environment we live in, what incentive would management have to gloss over the problem? I believe we must take their statements at face value. I have posted all the S&P 500 disclosure statements on Ed Yardeni's web site. Go read them for yourself. See www.yardeni.com and read the Y2k Disclosure project. The total cost is staggering, much more than the Gartner Group estimates. I am most worried about our government and the Pacific Rim. regards Stewart V. Nelson
