al Qaeda Fighters Rounded Up In Iraq Power Line Military officials announced today that 61 members of al Qaeda In Iraq were captured yesterday in Anbar province, west of Baghdad. They were apparently captured in a raid on a "training and bomb-making facility;" among those captured were some of al Qaeda's "critical facilitators," according to Major General Rick Lynch. Which makes me wonder: does the Democratic Party still say it's "un-American" to point out that we're fighting al Qaeda in Iraq?
