By contrast, consider the benign attitude of Canuks about getting a decent transport vehicle for all their stranded energy assets. Their nation is losing billions and billions because of the heavy discounts for Cdn energy and export bottlenecks. No, better that they listen to the natives, Suzuki, and the American NGO's that finance the eco-protests.

If you're an NGO employee or a socialist civil servant, "no problem." They've essentially have tenure. The tail wags the dog. Even if Northern Gateway is approved, it will be but a trickle of what they should be considering. Guess it is a modern variant of the 'diggers' and Ned Lud.
