re: In any case 9/11 isn't just an issue for the families, its an issue for the whole nation and really the world. Bush's actions and words after 9/11 are a legitimate part of the campaign for both sides. Bush's adds are no more an example of using "the death of their loved ones for mere political purposes", then Kerry's add's about his Vietnam service is using the deaths of over 50,000 Americans and many more Vietnamese for political purposes.

Take a moment and reflect on Kerry-Vietnam and Bush-9/11. Certainly if you drop your partisan, you can see the difference in the relationship.

The ads were distasteful to a significant portion of the population (not just victims relatives). I hope he runs them 24/7 for the next eight months.
