Well .. I entered a guilty plea today. Two of three of the home invaders were there for sentencing. Neither of them got to walk out of the courtroom. Direct to jail. Both were kind enough to show their true colors. The first had been caught for DWI and then had entered a guilty plea for something like malicious destruction. Six months with two year probation. The second had missed an appointment for a piss test. The judge asked him why. He started out "I had removed myself from this county" The judge cut him off saying "I can remove you from this county too." Sent him down to get piss tested. He came back positive for pot. The judge told him he doesn't sentence people who are dirty. Bond violated. We'll talk again in thirty days. This was the punk that had started the whole home invasion. And the one who got shot shot. These two had already pled guilty to conspiracy to commit home invasion. They were there to get sentenced today. They had pulled the above crap and more between the two times. The third has not pled guilty. He has since been picked up for drunk and disorderly. Today, I pled guilty to: Felonious Assault Possession of a hoax explosive device growing marijuana more than 20 plants. My sentencing date is set for 4/29. I've already spent 42 days in jail. The judge has promised I will receive, at the most, ten months.
