Well, well, well. Look at who one of the quotes from that Anti-Java article came from:

'Java is proprietary, controlled by Sun Microsystems. As long as it's controlled by a single entity it will never be an industry standard. They didn't even bother to get the company name right. Not exactly a long list of credible, well-established companies there, overall.
