The question is - if "trickle down" was not trickling - how bad would the economy be? I am not advocating "trickle down" - but when every thing else is destructive - where would we be without "trickle down"?

Similarly, where would the economy be today without the energy boom resulting from fracking? One could make the case that things would have been so bad in 2012 without fracking that the destructive idiot would have lost to Mickey Mouse. How ironic is that?
