In the post that I replied to you said " When you start criticizing Bush for BS, then and only then will you be considered non partisan by me."

A partisan comment as a defense against someone saying you where unfair by calling them partisan...

If that was the most partisan thing you have posted on SI I probably wouldn't have bothered to respond but lately it seems the majority of your posts have been highly partisan.

You are mistaking my anger for partisanship. The GOP and Bush have insulted my intelligence to the point where I have no patience with their nonsense.........and as an American, you shouldn't either. But that's where partisanship comes into play, doesn't it?

I'm not really attacking you for being partisan but for being partisan and then complaining about the partisanship of others esp when it is milder then yours, or at least what you have expressed on SI (you might be very mild in person but I only know you from comments on SI)

What reaction do you expect from me when you try to explain away an administration that spends money like there's no tomorrow? You forget I may be a liberal but I am also a fiscal conservative. There is nothing more disturbing to a fiscal conservative than to watch someone pork out at the trough without any constraint. Next year's budget is already a killer and they have yet to submit the Iraqi bill. Its coming in as a supplement. Yikes!

When Al complained about the wasteful spending, you went on this long winded [defensive] explanation trying to show that Bush's spending wasn't all that bad [in comparison to the spending during WW II]. Of course, that was after we had just fought a major world war but who's counting. Then, when I counter your rather tepid defense by pointing out that the two times our national debt has jumped up were under GOP administrations: the Reagan administration and now under G.W. Bush, what kind of response is forthcoming from you?

None......nada.......there is no response.

The GOP is incensed over Kerry calling his GOP attackers crooks and liars. Well, what do you call people who go to war under false pretenses; who say a budget item will cost one number and then when its passed by Congress go "Oops, I bad......its going to cost a lot more"; or who claim the CIA mislead them re. Iraq when it turns out they bypassed the CIA completely? Those are a few of the lies we have had to contend with during the past couple of years.

If you want to defend these charlatans, be my guest but don't turn around and call me partisan. Like Ten posted, the ones who yell partisan the most usually are the ones most partisan. I think he may be right.
