>>the largest buy was at or below 5,000...I guess the funds must be loading up acidman, I like your logic - the mutual funds represent the big trades, all big trades are down - therefore funds are getting out another perspective is that the funds are very coy - they make a business of buying & selling etc ... that they buy their allotments picking off 1,000 and 2,000 buys - to minimize their cost. And that it is only people like my father - sitting in front of CNBC calling T.Rowe Price placing market orders through touch-tone phone for 10,000 shares etc ... that represent the big sell orders. If this is the case, then your logic would be the other way around ... anyway. . . fwiw Cheers. George
