Why should it have anything to do with ASND? The thread tonight has been a little ridiculous, IMO - LU already buying shares, etc. It sounds like people think this is a done deal. This rumor is just that - a rumor. Even IF they ARE talking merger, these things take weeks - several technical analysis meetings (both sides), followed by senior management discussions (both sides) then finally several meetings of the respective boards of directors to approve and iron out remaining issues, etc. This process takes lots of time.
