Ted: The Arabs are in dissary. It is a religious matter and not so
political. On the contrary, you hear Iraq being deadly afraid of
Iran. Not so! If Iran wanted to take an offensive move against
Iraq they wourl have done so a lond time ago. The Mecca is in Iraq
and no distructive action against the holy Mosque is wanted by
at least 60% of the people in the region who are followers. Their
argument is that the US should but out in the situation because
they have supported Israel in their occupation of the Arab
territories on the West Bank. All this talk about Hussein's weapons
of mass distruction is a popularity program instituted by the
Clinton administration. Iraq is more discret and the underlying
attempt to bring the Muslim nation closer together. Clinton has
been one of the weakest presidents on foreign affairs and for the
the lame duck president he should just keep trying to put his golf
game back together
