People who live in very cold climates like Canada all know cold greatly reduces the ability of all batteries to provide a lot of power quickly. They often keep warmers around their lead acid car batteries so they provide enough electricity to start the car in the morning.

Current lithium batteries operate best between 10 C and 50 C, and can provide power less quickly down to -40 C.
