billwot. I bought some more Merck when it was 127 and sold some around 129 in order to buy some Amgen. I have been getting tired of just sitting around and seeing the techs go down. So I have started to trade a bit more. Today I sold my TBR and bought TGO. I was looking to buy more CPQ today if it had dropped. I heard there were a lot of sell orders in at the end and no buyers. So I was ready but someone came in and bought big. I have looked at some TA that was shown on CPQ and if it falls much more and below 20 it could go to 17. I sure don't want to see it there. I also heard that CPQ may be thinking of scrapping the deal with DEC. I am not quite sure if this would be good or what. It's getting pretty hard to figure CPQ out. With all the price cuts they should be able to get rid of the inventory in the channels and maybe this will move CPQ up again. I guess you heard that Rockwell did not do too well. They blamed their modem business. It has been hitting 3 Com after the market closed. I don't know why it should make a diff. to 3 Com. I have said all along that Rockwell was never a competition for 3 Com, formerly USRX. They had used a different modem and I think Ascend went along with Rockwell and then got hurt also. In my mind, 3Com was always the better choice in modems. But now we always play this association thing. Sheesh. I hope this not so good report will not affect the rest of the techs. It should not go beyond the networkers. Sonny
