Yes, in retrospect I think that ship will look very important. At the time, the American papers were covering it very gingerly, printing State Department doubts about its PA connection, and the British papers were practically calling the whole thing an Israeli fabrication. The Israeli papers were just beside themselves -- why isn't the West reporting it? why don't they believe it? we got the papers, the crew is PA Navy, the captain confessed, all the weapons -- why don't they report it?
