The reason you choose MSFT products is because you feel they are the best, otherwise you would be on Apple or Unix, which both cost more. Therefore, Windows is good for the conumer. No. Technically, Windows has never had the best OSes. The reason that everyone buys them is because everyone buys them. And because most 3rd-party software is available for Windows first and often only. And the reason for all of this is because MSFT was backed by IBM. This is what got the whole Catch-22 ball of wax going.
