these retired generals who didn't have guts to speak up when in service blame current generals for no balls in speaking up to Rumsfeld. they project Rumsfeld as king of the hill and no one attempting to knock him off . it is sad to think the chiefs would cave into Rumsfield for fear of pension, etc. it seems to go against everything they were trained to do.
