It very, very much was instructive. I too saved it. Anytime you fellows with the technical expertise down pat can translate your knowledge into terms lay folks can understand, it's a bonus to everyone. Even Mike does it beautifully. He's a damn whiz at financial stuff, and if he chose, there's no doubt he could terrify people into never looking at a complez 10k. But he doesn't. He keeps it on a level we all can grasp, simply because he wants to be understood by as wide an audience as possible, and misunderstood by as few as possible. A lot of the people here are marketers...sales guys...not really technical people in all cases (I'm a good example), but smart enough to grasp concepts readily...like your explanation of thruput and latency, which was brilliantly simple.
