well Mz Pelosi has her work cut out for her. she has only 20 months before an election campaign starts again in earnest. She has a Republican President, and a war on. She won't get to work until probably January, although she will probably start the ground work on Monday. She has 2 Christmas Breaks to go through, and two summer breaks to go through. And she has to make the Democrats look like they have an escape plan for Iraq, that is not defeat. Many of the people she is going to want to talk to are going to be unavailable at first call. If she looks like she is doing too much witch hunting and finding nothing, she looks bad. And she is making promises like a drunken sailor...... A new and Improved Republican Party has a good chance of electing a president, if they look contrite and eager to co operate. We have learned our lesson has to become their mantra. I would think about choosing the new candidate sooner rather than later, so that he can point out the problems with Pelosi and her gang. with a little luck the economy will be slowing down, and unemployment going up.
