Zicam selling well

I am a long who has lurked on this thread for quite a while. I haven't posted recently because I didn't have anything meaningful to contribute that hasn't already been discussed (not that THAT matters). I should also admit that I added to my position on the dip.

I have been reading yahoo, this and that wexler thread recently and have seen the contentions from the short side that Zicam is actually not selling well in stores. First let me say that my wife is a pharmacist that assists her district manager by frequently filling holes in the district schedule. Basically, she works in a lot of stores.

Last night, without prompting, she was complaining to me that Zicam was not available in any of the stores she has worked recently and she has been unable to order more due to a manufacturer back order. This issue was particularly alarming to her because several customers (in each store) have been asking for it. While I share her concern that sales opportunities are being wasted by the unavailability, the fact that the store shelves are empty seems to fly in the face of the rumor that it is not selling at the retail level.

Good luck to all (even you Wexler)
