[Objectivity]

Good post Peter. I have to agree with much of what you said. I am a believer in most of the xDSL stocks and feel AMTX will eventually have its day. But a lot of telcos ARE putting out CAP, and not just to start with. A telco deploying CAP does not make that kind of committment arbitrarily. Some people here call cap "crap". That is not seeing things objectively. I am not anti-DMT or anti-CAP. I am pro making money, and will do so with any technology that gets deployed.

From the May 1997 Individual Investor magazine, page 40, regarding Nynex and Bell Atlantic - "The combined entity would create a giant with the largest local exchange customer base in the country, stretching from Maine to Virginia". Seems to me there is "gold" in CAP. BA/Nynex may have the largest ADSL deployments in the country.

Be that as it may, AMTX may have more room to rise than WSTL if they get contracts. I'm hoping they will, I have a lot riding on AMTX right now.

Mike
