These refugees are in French camps because they can't crossover to the UK where they want to go in the first place.
This is not a French problem, this is an UK problem.
UK effectively has risen a visa duty of €2.5k
Continental Europe only wishes that UK would take her part in the resolution of the refugees problem, not closing the borders (so doing UK refuses to apply Schengen's agreement) to the "lumpen proletariat" which has to stay on the continent.
Problem of continental Europe is that most countries have an identification card for their inhabitants an can control their right to stay. Proud Albion refuses to re-instate the identification card, so that a refugee easily can melt in the population. That's why the refugees are lining up in French camps, trying to cross over, over and over again.
