I have to agree with you. Buying tech stocks here are trading vehicles only and not investments. Lots of noise about "getting in" at the lows. EXCUSE ME? lows? "getting in"? Low stock prices do not imply good investment value. (Tradable? yes and maybe in some cases). Apparently some "investors" lose rational thought when buying stocks as investments. I linked an article referencing absurd valuations in the telecom chip maker space. PMCS, BRCM, et all - valuations (multiples) of around 100 for year 2003 - for crying out loud!

But see, my problem is that this awareness is too rational to be of any use trading stocks. I'm astounded at the moves I saw BRCM make yesterday - people are crazy... (Or is it the greater fool theory?)
