There are options on BRCM --- I have bought and sold several. It's just that the volatility premium is so high that if you want to buy Leaps----you might as well buy the stock itself. A 100 August Call---strike price 100 is now about 2200. several days ago, the call cost 1187 dollars---not bad for a 3 day investment.
