Greg: Hadn't heard of UDI. It appears to be non-Intel group with SCO being the prime mover(the UDI page seems to be hosted on the SCO site). Their design philosophy seems to be one driver for all the platforms. Without Microsoft and Intel they may have a tough time in the Wintel environment. Srivaths
