that's an excellent post...

i have to agree that if you see a light barreling down upon you, and it's train, what do you do?

step aside, (not just you,but your family)

or do you stand firm and believe that someway, somehow, the train you see is derailed, as cooler and more rational heads prevail ( i think 2010 election will be a watershed in that regard)

otoh, i think it makes total sense to at the very minimum look into other countries that are not so heavily burdened by unfunded liabilities...

i would not, with that scenario upon the younger generation under any rationale remain... simply stand idle and do nothing

it is theft, pure and simple

but if the PTB insist upon it, and the people are unable or unwilling to unseat them, then, well frankly, we deserve the fate that we (and our children) get...

we are reaching a watershed moment in our history, the inability to pay for unfunded liabilities, the contraction of our economy, which is unable to fund even *current* liabilities...(see august SS deficit)

we cannot sustain ill-concieved 'promises' on the backs of our future generations...(debt SLAVES)

the time is now to say no... no more...

if we return the current representative regime back to power, we deserve what we get...

and the intelligent ones will have made provisions to move their assets and future of their family elsewhere
