Thanks Bob. I think that confirms that I'm not losing my mind. Since the scan program uses the minimum number of days necessary to run the scan, I guess I would need to change the periods option in the display charts program to match that minimum number if I wanted the scan results and charts to match exactly. I haven't tried it yet but it makes sense to me that it would work. I read ahead in the thread and it seemed that the conseneus was that it was a minor glitch which could be lived with. Gary mentioned (in that December '96 post) that Release 2 would allow you to specify the number of days to use to calculate the ema's. Have any of you with the beta version tested to see if scan results using ema's match up exactly with the display charts?
