I know your point was to somehow invest 'emotionally'. I think that is BS. The only way you make it anywhere is by having insight.

You CAN invest logically in iomega. Their price is not overvalued. My fuzzy logical opinion tells me this. It's still a rational opinion.

This news is VERY VERY heavy. I was considering when to pull out, but with these reports, this is very much only the tip of the iceberg. Hard to believe, but I'm sure of it. Iomega WILL get bigger than seagate and many other hard drive companies. They are rapidly becomming the standard. I would not doubt the IBM deal which may be around the corner.

Is Packard Bell still #1 seller in PC's? How's Acer rank nowadays? These internet computers are going to be a major push for zip drives, and soon Jaz drives.

Rumor that seagate will buyout Syquest. Good, it's easier to win a race when the opponent is running the wrong way. Perhaps they'll get good R&D, but they're going to have to take tons of loss. Share prices are way high. Maybe by scale, syquest is too small to count for much, but it's still a step backwards.
