Bob, my Win98SE came on a new Dell laptop last September. About SI shutting down: last time I saw any numbers they trailed Raging Bull in unique visitors and both were down over 70% from the peak last year. But Motley Fool was up, maybe because TMF provides investor education and guidance. [even though that guidance has been loss making last year]

We could all migrate to Yahoo if necessary.
