Informative post on both accounts.

As far as "profit" and "greed" is concerned they
could be redundant. The other motivating factor
to make a decision in FEAR.

FEAR and GREED generally motivate us to make our
investment decisions. Usually at a DELAYED response
to market conditions. One must bridle the urges.

Greed = BUY
Fear = SELL

However, all decisions in life are made to either be
better off than we are now or... not be worse off
than we are now.
