I think when we dismiss the seasons as a part of how our bodies and lives 'work', things aren't better.

I can't remember where I saw it, but the other day I was reading something on 'talking about the weather'... ya know how people now tend to say that is such a boring topic. but there's an age-old reason we have brought it up, not simply as a converstion starter. and it's something farmers and poets (and those who are both) share...

for a farmer, the weather is intregal to life and livelihood, and if you have horses or farm-stock. for a poet, how the light is at different times, how the air feels on your skin.. but hey that works for farmers, too. a farmer can tell when the rains coming while others are watching the weather channel.,. the light changes, the air changes, the wind can change just a lil bit... but you know that storm is on its way.

I am a big fan of 'the weather'. :) I think we have become very disconnected from our senses and the seasons. (yes, I have pondered this often and long)
