I thought of good script idea just now. Supposing there were 5 people born on Sept. 12th in Tibet. All 5 are raised as Buddhists, and are taught about reincarnation, since it is totally normal.
They all discover this when they are sitting down to eat at a party one day. They are all Tibetian Buddhist monks.
One remembers he was a firefighter in NYC. One remembers she was in a wheelchair on the 106th floor of Tower 2. One remembers he was on a hijacked plane, and he helped attack the terrorists, even though he knew he, and the lady and kid in the seat behind him, and everyone else on the plane would die. One remembers he was a terrorist that flew the first plane that hit the Trade Center. And the last one remembers that he died peacefully of old age after living a most excellent life in San Diego, California.
Who's the evil dude, who is the hero, who is the innocent bystander, who is righteous, and who is a coward? Who needs to atone for his crimes? Who needs to be blessed? Who is an enemy? Who is worth saving? Why? I guess it all depends on which mountain one is climbing, eh? |
