Wade,
Thanks for your informative post. It is this kind of research that helps move the thread from one of only opinion to one with pertinent
findings about the company.
Being somewhat speculative by nature, as most stock investors are,
I would like to air a speculation.
This question has come up on the thread. Why would Matridigm, knowing what they knew at the time of their joining Zitel have sold
a goldmine for something just over $3 mil for a 37.5% interest.
It would seem that with a product such as their y2k solution, that a number of companies may have offered better deals. Of course we are aware that IBM turned down the technology and James Brady moved on it.
According to Stewart, the partnership w/Zitel was forged almost instantaniously with his acceptance of the stewardship of Matridigm.
What was the symbiosis that drew these two corporate entities together. Whatever it was it must have already reached the cooked stage long before the merge was effected.
My thinking ,having seen the particulars of the deal displayed ,
is that Zitel may have something in the works that will capitalize immensely on this technology, very likely having something to do with storage or intelligent catching. Something that would benefit both companies to such an extent that they were drawn together in a sharing of Matridigm's answer to the y2k problem. I am tuned in for the next chapter of the Zitel/Matridigm saga.
