Thanks Andy, for the information on the dividend. I was encouraged by today's action (2/18) on T, rising 3/4. There's no question in my mind that T will be playing catchup with the market valuations.

I think this is a classical example where one should buy on the bad (negative) press news and wait for the tide to turn. I keep thinking that one day soon everyone will wake up and look at T as the buy of a lifetime.

If one compares T to Merrill Lynch Brokerage, they are both the heavyweights in their respective industries. Merrill Lynch I understand charges among the highest broker commissions in the industry and yet they remain on top. The price of their stock is at a premium. I suppose it's their superior service that makes it worthwhile. T also has the best service in its industry and will eventually command a high market valuation for its shares.
