From the little reading I've done, and Chris Jennings comments at the ASM, I'd say South Africa is a better risk than at any time in many, many years. Whatever change there may be in the government, all want prosperity. They recognize that that comes from economic development based on a stable government and moderate taxes. Capetown real estate is in a boom and international investment in flowing in like never before. Personally, I've been investing in South African mining for 17 years and have never regreted it. I feel even better about their future now than at anytime over this period...AND I feel better about SUF's prospects in that part of the world over any of their other properties.
