Gizelle,

I did follow your examples and I appreciate it. A lot of people have been lucky writing calls but I have not been. I wrote on 2/3 of my VONS shares and when SWY suddenly bought them out, I had no chance to gracefully cover. Ultimately I bought back, at a huge loss on the transaction. Buying back still made me some money since I didn't lose my shares and of course, they are far more valuable now, but I could have made a huge amount of money if I hadn't written those calls. When that happens it hurts. I have had bad luck with writing calls, but you're right in suggesting I consider it. Since I trade small amounts of the stock with AIM, I would probably just write on half my position. I'll take a look at what I can get. :-) I appreciate the reminder.
