What a mess. The Iraqi's "insurgents" are getting more effective, not less effective.

Its pretty hopeless. I read an article this week.....should have posted it........where a bare majority still believe that there are WMDs in Iraq and that Saddam had solid links to al Qaeda. That's the reality........people either don't want to get it, or are so confused and misinformed, they don't get it.

And the games go on........two nites ago, I was watching the news and one of the generals in Iraq was on, explaining why the military doesn't allow coffins of soldiers to be shown. He claimed that the policy came out of the Vietnamese war when families became disturbed that flag draped coffins were being shown on tv. Now forget that the coffins all look alike and its not possible to read who is in the coffins but what's most disturbing is that if you check the facts, this policy was not enacted during the Vietnamese war but rather in 1991 during the Gulf War under Bush I. That was nearly 20 years after the Vietnamese war.

So who are they kidding?! And more importantly, why?
