It has happened before and will again. Blowing sand, an inadvertent hand movement that is also the signal to get out, etc, etc. As I said yesterday every battle carries a cost even unto the winner. We are fortunate to have such men who so willingly ride the helicopters into hot landing zones and quickly disembark to enter the fight. Volunteers do not come to SF for the college fund. They come to bust caps on America's enemies. Toc was one of those. The fact that his demise was accidental does not diminish his patriotism and willingness to fight for and sacrifice for the common good.
