A few words on STOPS, first I never actually use a hard stop, as long as I am sitting here, I DO use mental ones. The MMS can see a hard stop and will gladly swoop down in a loose mkt and goop me.
However, when and where do I use mental stops is really dependant on many factors, the volatility of the stock, the technical support level and S/T trading channel, the futs, and the NAZ in general. The story and the stock also play a role, really difficult to say in a few paragraphs. Each persons trade style and pain tolerance is different.
