this is one nasty thread. what's the point?

on topic, asnd puzzles me. i sell infrastructure products, but i had never heard of asnd until SI. i've even profited by trading asnd (thanks to tim luke). what i don't understand is why a company like ours (2 billion in sales) does 0 business with asnd - are they totally direct?
if they are totally direct - that will SEVERELY limit their customer base.
perhaps it's just ignorance on my part (not knowing about asnd), but i sell a lot of coms, csco and bay.
