I realize people think the center has been defined here, but I don't think it actually has been. The only time we tried I think we all disagreed about what it was. I've been amused to see people say (on other threads) that I call myself a centrist, when nothing could be further from the truth. I call myself far left or left, and hope to always be so, and have always said so. It's amazing what people will say- but some of the time it's hyperbole.

Making a "syndrome" out of something a political opponent does is propaganda, and insulting propaganda at that- it may be insulting propaganda aimed at other insulting propaganda, but do two wrongs make a right? Does ugly behavior combatting ugly behavior make the world a better place? It may play well with people who already agree with you, but for everyone else a good rational discussion of why the hyperbole used by the other side is wrong, will be much more efficacious. IMO, of course.
