I think that it is pretty obvious that internet sales are, and will continue to be for quite some time, only a small part of the marketplace.

Until people can be sitting in front of their TVs and use the remote to click on an advertisement, click "PAY with credit card on file", and have the book arrive a few days later then there will not be any huge loss of business for retail based booksellers. Only a small fraction of the potential consumers out there are online. My parents are mid 50's. I don't see them ever buying books anywhere but in a store. And they read quite a bit. I think they represent a huge portion of the consumers.

IMO Borders is smart to concentrate on mall superstores. I think this stock will be back in the 30-40 range eventually.
