Don't believe, tv, Maurice; tv drama is fantasy and propaganda. Police in real life aren't like Starsky & the other hollywood stars.
The police in question were Park Police, in the presence of Clinton and Hubbell and others from the White House who insisted upon being at Foster's house when the police notified Lisa Foster of her husband's death. There is no issue of the police being "wussy" or "wimps". Get real, Maurice. They weren't confronting anybody accused of a crime. They were in the midst of a group of people mourning the sudden news of a friend's death.
When they were glared at and shoved around, to keep them away from the people they wanted to talk to, instead of shoving back or acting like Russian Communist Thug Police might (though I doubt even they would, in the presence of the Premier Thug of Russia), they deferred, and left, intending to return later when the White House crowd wasn't there.
"How come glaring?" That is a good question, Maurice. It remains unanswered. Why don't you write Clinton a letter and ask him.
One officer, the one Hubbell shoved out of the way, was a lady, the other was a man. The lady testified at congressional hearings, televised, about how Hubbell had rudely shoved her aside. 260 lbs versus 130 lbs - it didn't take much of a nudge on Hubbell's part.
"Catch Hubbell?" He's already caught, for other crimes - something to do with grossly fraudulent billing of his law firm clients. (So grossly fraudulent that it made his fellow attorneys nervous.)
Foster wasn't having an affair with Hillary. He was scrupulously honest. The dishonesty he had to cope with was causing him so much cognitive dissonance that he had spoken with Lisa two weeks earlier about resigning.
Your remark that you are indifferent to Foster sounds callous, but I think I know what you mean - that you believe it is not related to anything significant.
That makes it even stranger that the circumstances surrounding his death would be hushed up and shielded from a normal inquiry.
Foster was privy to all the papers concerning the Clinton's involvement in the Whitewater real estate scam, the Clinton's fraudulent tax deductions, the income from the commodities trading, some of which had not been reported to the IRS, and God knows what else.
