Mr. Stockman,

I haven't followed Claires long enough to know if they split twice in 1996. But if it says that in the S&P research report then I guess it must be true.

I'm a short term trader so retail being out of favor does matter to me. Why have money tied up in something that isn't moving? Since some retail stocks will buck the trend, I'm not overly concerned about it though. My primary concern, and the reason I sold my stock at 13 1/4 a few weeks ago: The poor reaction to what should have been blockbuster news and a poor looking chart.

The chart looks weak to me, with support at 12 1/2 and resistance at 13 1/2. If it closes over 13 1/2 then I can see a further move to 14 1/2. But I think the odds favor the stock declining to test support at 12 1/2 than getting through resistance at 13 1/2.
