AR, I appreciate the information regarding Stuart, but I would like to know the time frame for Power Bingo's existing installations. Before investing in AGTI, I tried to do some research regarding competitors and competitive products, quality of products, and so forth. So far as I could determine, Power Bingo has been in the market for several years whereas AGTI has been in the product development stage while they have made some installations. Power Bingo is using older technology that is much less sophisticated than AGTI's. I also believe that Power Bingo's customer support (service) is very weak...and I'm being kind....resulting in a lot of installed units which produce no revenue because they either are not played or no longer perform. IMHO, AGTI's technology and customer service are vastly superior. For instance, AGTI's MaxLite handset is computer programmed with all the games that are played, and it has a feature which automatically "daubs" the called numbers. It can play "hands free" or manually. Unless there has been a change of which I am unaware, Power Bingo's units require the players to manually input each game and manually "daub" the numbers. This older technology would be far more prone to mistakes, I would think, but AGTI's technology seems state of the art.
I understand that AGTI has been continuously upgrading and improving their software (v.3.0 is complete), while installing units. This apparently required more time than competitors have been willing to spend, but the end result is a fabulous product. This product is just now starting to captivate the market, and my own intuition and common sense tell me that far better things are in store for us shareholders.
If Power Bingo is truly superior to AGTI, then why did AGTI succeed in winning a contractual agreement with the Edward Thompson Group (UK) for the UK's first bingo handset? The Thompson Group is the largest supplier of bingo paper IN THE WORLD. As I recall, they provide product to 40 or 50 countries around the globe. Why did Thompson select AGTI's software and handset rather than Power Bingo's?
Also, recall the press release(s) regarding AGTI and Sega? Why has Sega been working with AGTI for about a year on a new product called Sonic? I am virtually sure that Sonic is another patented technology of AGTI. Everyone on the planet knows Sega's reputation for technology, particularly in the arena of gaming. So why is Sega working with AGTI and not Power Bingo?
Face the facts -- all of them and not just isolated sound bites -- and I am still firmly convinced that we DID NOT select the wrong horse. The Thompson Group and Sega have more knowledge about gaming than you or I will ever understand. Often the first horse out of the gate has not been conditioned well enough to win the race. I, like every other AGTI investor, wish that profitability could have come sooner and that the stock price had not slid to current levels. But I think that in the near future we will all be glad that AGTI took the time to groom this thoroughbred.
Finally, many shareholders including myself have tried to maintain contact with AGTI in an objective and level-headed manner in order to stay abreast of current events. I am completely encouraged by the verifiable facts I have gained, not by hype or exaggerations. I typically leave a voicemail and always receive a prompt and courteous callback. I suggest you do the same, if you have not already done so. Leave your name and telephone number to receive first hand information. |
