HP finishes site for corporate clients By Margaret Kane Special to ZDNet News October 9, 2002, 7:21 AM PT Hewlett-Packard has officially launched its new Web site for corporate customers that combines the former Compaq Computer and HP business sites. The new site allows customers to track purchases from both pre-merger companies and to review order histories. It also creates a single catalog for both HP and Compaq products. "This Web tool enables customers to collaborate with their HP account teams and partners online in order to streamline and control their e-commerce activity through services such as global order tracking, reporting and support," Marius Haas, worldwide vice president of HP's eBusiness, said in a release. customeradvantage.compaq.com (isn't that cute, it looks like SI does not recognize "https" which of course is for secure web sites so it is not highlighted, maybe si doesn't need any security, so just cut and paste it if you want the url, URL. :) )
