Don't get me wrong. I respect your attempt to analyze the situation immensely. It's just that I'm coming at it from a different point of view. I'm primarily a trader, although I will stay with a position if it's moving in the right direction. From a trader's vantage point you've got a company with new management, something of a franchise, and a potentially sold out stock.

Frankly, it looks like I may have been wrong in my "trader's" assessment, although I did caution that it would take a few days for the analysts' to finish reviewing and assessing Novell's numbers. The stock has acted awfully heavy the last couple of days.

I still feel that Schmidt wouldn't have made the comment about revenues unless he knew he could beat it. That is public relations 101 and he couldn't have spent all that time at SUNW without learning that.
